It is essential that ALL players register for the tryouts as all tryout communication will be sent via email. Any notifications about changes to practices due to inclement weather, tryout results and further information will all be sent via player email.

Yes within 48hrs you should receive a confirmation email. Any new players will also be provided with training options of what sessions to attend and which coach to look for.

Attending a training session

Once you receive your tryout session time, all players should arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of the tryout. Players will check in with the appropriate coach as indicated within the registration email.

Parents can accompany players to the field but are not permitted to stay for the tryout.

We encourage players to attend two tryouts. The reason for this is, we want the player to feel comfortable with the players/team and the different style of coaching.

Please ensure every player is properly dressed in soccer attire including shin guards, suitable shoes, a ball, water, and any personal medical supplies you may need. Current NJC members should wear their gray practice kit to the tryout. Players should not be wearing any jewelry, watches, wristbands or anything else that would not be permitted in a game.

Notifications

Each player will be notified of a decision upon next year's teams during the month of April or early May. Players will be emailed notification whether they have made the team or not.  If you do not hear from the club within a week of the tryout, please email us at

Should there be any cancellations or adjustments to the tryout, players and parents will be notified via email and be given another date to attend.
