The girls from U13 Storm and U12 Tsunami teams have represented the club extremely well and make up a quarter of the squad. They have proven that hard work pays off and were proud that they will represent our club in the Olympic Development Program. Additionally, 2 of our U15 Charge girls have made the team 4th year in a row, and 2 of the U11 Flames girls have made the young ODP team as well.

CHAMPIONS at the CFC Columbus Day Tournament

U10 GirlsThe U10 Fire played 4 games with 4 victories, scoring 13 goals and keeping  4 shut outs.  They played teams from Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New York East on their way to finishing as Champions in the CFC Columbus Day Classic this weekend. The girls played very well across the weekend and look to continue their excellent progress moving forward into the rest of the Fall!

U11 GirlsThe U11 Flames played some strong clubs from Massachusetts and Connecticut this weekend at the CFC Columbus Day Classic this weekend. The Flames played 3 group games finishing top of their group with 3 wins, 12 goals for and 5 against. They then went into the final against the other undefeated team and the host team of the tournament, Connecticut Football Club. The Flames produced a great team performance to finish as Champions with a 2-0 win in the final! The Flames look to continue this momentum moving into the rest of the Fall season!

U12 Girls - The U12 Tsunami also had a great weekend.  They went undefeated and unscored upon in the first three games which put them at the top of their group to win the bracket. The team played South Shore Select Elite out of Massachusetts  in the final on Sunday afternoon.  The game turned into exactly what we expected a hard-fought battle that went the full 60 minutes plus another 10 minutes of overtime.  The score was 0-0 at the end of regulation. Unfortunately the team lost with 40 seconds left in overtime on a golden goal by South Shore Select. The team gave a tremendous effort. The game is was regarded as one of the highlights of the weekend in the tournament by CFC.

Solid Performance at the JPS Tournament

U11Girls Development Flames white got off to a slow start against a well organized Mount Laurel but after getting into their stride, they won their 2nd game comfortably against the Pemberton. Hoping to start strong Sunday against JPS, the hosts, both teams went back and forth and had scoring opportunities but it was the hosts that finished on top. The team worked hard in the last game looking to finish on a high and were rewarded with an exciting finish by scoring in the dying seconds to win the game 3-2 against FC Boca.
